Madiba would have turned 100 years old on 18 July 2018. Priontex responded to a plea from a charity that was seeking help to repair the damaged theatre gowns used at Dora Nginza Provincial Hospital in Port Elizabeth. In the spirit of Mandela Day, Priontex donated 100 surgical gowns to the hospital. The handover was broadcast live by a local radio station, Kingfisher FM. As a result of our donation, Dora Nginza Hospital is better able to support its drive for improved patient care and protection for its doctors and nurses.
